Maur Hill - Mount Academy is an investment in your child so that they can be challenged, supported, and grow in a faith-filled college prep environment. We understand the financial commitment when considering boarding school and that is why we have been and will strive to remain one of the most affordable Catholic boarding schools across the entire United States.

Application Fee:       $100     (one-time initial fee)
Enrollment Fee:        $500    (one-time initial fee)
Re-enrollment Fee:   $325    (spring semester fee for all returning students)

Annual Payment:      $34,450
January Entry:          $20,300

Payment Plan Options: ($1,000 payment plan fee is applied)
Semester Payments:    $20,300             Due August 1              $15,150             Due January 1
8 Monthly Payments:  $5,075/month    August - November    $3,787/month    January - April

Included in tuition: boarding, meals, class fees, English as a Second Language courses and support, senior graduation fee, ACT/SAT/TOEFL prep courses, athletic fees, yearbook, weekend and airport transportation, on-campus activities, uniforms, medical health insurance and most textbooks. 

Not included: college/university credit registration and course fees, Advanced Placement exams, ACT/SAT test fees, personal spending money.  

Scholarships 

Legacy Scholarship - $3,000. Awarded to a boarding student with a grandparent, parent or sibling who has attended Mount St. Scholastica Academy, Maur Hill Prep, or Maur Hill - Mount Academy. No application is required. 

Merit Scholarships - Varies. 9th and 10th grade applicants only, must be admissible into mainstream courses (no ESL). In addition to grades, academic recommendations, test scores, and the student interview; the applicant must submit the following:

  • Resume: academic awards, community service projects, leadership roles in the community,  service awards, extracurricular activities, etc...
  • A personal letter of recommendation such as Priest/Pastor, Family Friend, MH-MA Alum, Coach, Community Leader, Youth Ministry Leader. 
  • Essay (250 words): "How do you see yourself making a difference at Maur Hill - Mount Academy?"
